Dr. Kang obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the UT Health School of Dentistry in Houston. Before transitioning into dentistry, he completed advanced degrees in exercise physiology, including his Master’s and PhD from the University of Michigan. After years in medical research at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Kang sought a more direct and meaningful impact on people's lives—and dentistry provided the perfect opportunity.
